Hanna Koval is an art teacher who works with individuals of all ages, employing a diverse range of techniques tailored to their age and experience levels. She offers both group and private classes, conducted in studios located in Dartmouth and Halifax, as well as offering personalized classes in students' homes. Her comprehensive art program covers various types of lessons, including painting, drawing, composition, and sculpture. Students will acquire practical skills in working with elements like rhythm, the interplay between still and moving components, symmetry and asymmetry, contrast, nuances, and perspective, thereby cultivating a profound comprehension of visual harmony. The curriculum extends to replicating Old Master paintings and delving into art history, thereby instilling a sense of context and artistic lineage. Students will learn the fundamentals of painting and drawing, as well as gain a deeper understanding of a wide range of art materials. They will also engage in practicing drawing and painting from real life,  including landscapes, objects, and quick sketches.

The program's lessons and assignments are as unique as each student, adapting to different age groups to provide an engaging and personalized artistic exploration. Of course, fine art demands skills and knowledge, yet it is important not to overlook that the learning process is enjoyable and immerses you in a realm of imagination that can be translated into reality.
